Your UQ Union is the hub of student life at The University of Queensland. We focus on providing services, support, representation and resources that enhance your university experience outside the classroom. We are all about U!.
Your UQU does not rely on student contributions to maintain the services we offer. As a student of UQ you are automatically a member of the Union and its free. We are funded by the profits from our many outlets on campus (lolly shop, second hand bookshop, Main Course, bakery and the Red Room just to name a few) and through partnerships within the community. UQ Union provides extensive services to around 38 000 students including legal advice, education, advocacy, welfare rights support, employment, queer rights, environmental initiatives, womens rights and indigenous student support.
Additionally, we provide significant support and funding to clubs and societies.
We put the "U" in Uni.
Advertising Policy
UQU does not permit unauthorised advertising for goods and services, this includes non-UQU affliated events, promotions, products and community notices. Unauthorised content, spam posts and tags will be deleted immediately and users may be blocked from accessing the UQ Union page.
